Zonneveld

Known as ‘Triple Z’, Zonneveld was born on the 22nd of July 1998 in Uitgeest, a town in the province of North Holland. The Dutchman joined the Professional Darts Corporation in 2019 having attended the European Q-School in the same year, winning his Tour Card on the first day of the event.  Capable of producing an average of over 100, as shown on the PDC Youth/Development Tour 2020 at DT 02 Hildesheim, Zonneveld has already played in some of the biggest events in the PDC.

At the 2022 Belgian Darts Open, Niels Zonneveld delivered a stunning upset by defeating reigning World Champion Peter Wright 6–5 in the second round.

Zonneveld continued to make his mark at the 2024 PDC World Darts Championship, securing his first victory at the tournament with a 3–1 win over Darren Webster in the opening round.
